Once again, this Land, Sardinia, and its Feminine essence, have proven to be precious guides for looking at the world with new eyes.
And it is with this energy that Arràstos was born – footsteps, those she wants to leave and those she follows, the same ones that have allowed her to explore embroidery on photographic canvas, driven by curiosity and the desire to give the precise and delicate “art of the grandmothers” a new look.
The unusual combination of embroidery and photography allows her to shed light on an apparently insignificant detail, offering the viewer a tangible sensation where the image emerges from the photograph, which in the meantime has become a true canvas, with threads of silk and colored cotton taking the place of brushstrokes.
