Irena’s goldsmith journey was built one piece at a time, giving voice to all her passions and skills. She trained as an architect in Florence, Italy, and has always had a great interest in different materials and effects that can be obtained by shaping them with the hands. Finding pure beauty in the organic forms of nature, she balances the precise with the irregular, the perfect with the prosaic. She works with precious metals using ancient techniques such as lost wax casting, cuttlefish bone casting and customization through metal stamp punching. Each of her pieces is unique and hides a story behind it.
