Tradition, innovation and enhancement of the territory, these are the three cornerstones that constitute the philosophical soul of Wood Design Italian Handcraft creations. We design and produce table and floor lamps using a particular type of material: prickly pear wood fiber. The processes of extraction and processing (invented by them) are very complex and require months and months of attention. The extreme care and the enormous time dedicated to the “forging”, make this material inimitable. The entire creation of the objects is done entirely by hand, following the traditional processes of woodworking. The light filtered by the fiber makes the surrounding environment magical. Each lamp has its own essence and communicates different sensations and emotions.
